3GP is another version of MPEG4 (mp4) but uses less space which uses less bandwidth, perfect for mobile phones. 3GP video clips can be downloaded directly to mobile phones, transfered via a link cable or bluetooth connection. All new 3G phones are capable of playing 3GPP clips.
